How to play Mr & Mrs

The rules could not be simpler. One person reads the card out loud, you count to three, and you both say your answer at the same time. Same name means a point. Different names means no point, but almost certainly a better argument. Play in rounds of 20 cards, or just see how long a matching streak you can build.

Where it works

This is a wedding and engagement party staple, and in front of a crowd the biggest laughs come from cards like "who sleeps more" or "who is more stubborn." It isn't only for weddings, though. It works at a house party, on a road trip, or on a quiet night in.

One piece of advice

It's most fun when the answers are honest instead of diplomatic; that's where the whole game comes from. If a card turns up something genuinely sore, park it and come back to it later instead of hashing it out mid-round. This is not a compatibility score. It's just a game.

How this version works

First you enter the two names, or everyone at the table. On each question you tap the name you're voting for; once the votes are in, the top name is revealed and takes the point. The mini scoreboard keeps a running tally and announces a winner at the end.
