💒 OK or Not OK? Marriage Edition
Most marriage arguments circle back to money, family, and how the house runs. These cards put those exact gray areas on the table before they turn into a fight.
How to play
Every card describes something from married life: the joint account, in-laws showing up, work travel, who does which chores, decisions about the kids. Read it, both say "OK" or "not OK," and give your reasoning. Set aside the cards you disagree on and come back to them later.
The goal isn't to decide who's right. It's to see which expectations you each grew up assuming were normal. A surprising number of marriage fights start as an expectation nobody ever said out loud, and these cards make those sayable in a calm moment. Stop when you're tired; it isn't a marathon.
Who it's for
Married couples, engaged couples doing the pre-wedding thinking, and anyone about to move in together. Good for an anniversary, a long drive, or an ordinary evening when you want better questions for couples than small talk.
Almost everything married people argue about traces back to one question: who decides, and how much. After you answer each card, add a sentence explaining why. That small habit is the part that keeps the same topic from becoming a real argument six months later.
These cards are free, require no sign-up, and run in your browser. Read a few at a time on a quiet night — it's far easier than sorting it out mid-argument.
