Eighty 'put a finger down' cards for a group. Ten fingers each, one card at a time, and the first person out is the loser.
How Finger Down works
Everyone starts with ten fingers up. One player reads a card out loud, and anyone the statement is true for puts a finger down. There is no explaining unless the group demands it — and the group always demands it. When your last finger goes down you are out, and the game keeps running until one person is still holding on. Rounds are fast, usually five to ten minutes, which is why people ask to play again immediately.
Why it beats other confession games
Finger Down is the version everyone can play. There is nothing to drink, nothing embarrassing to disclose, and no cards about anything you would not say in front of your parents. These eighty are all about ordinary human behavior: hitting snooze, arguing with a self-checkout machine, apologizing to furniture, keeping a screenshot for a year. The fun comes from realizing how many of them are true for you.
Who it's for
