🤝 Best Friend Test

12 questions on how close your friendship really is. Both of you take it, then compare — free, no sign-up.

What this friendship test looks at

Friendship is easy to measure badly. Years known, messages sent, photos together — none of that tells you much. These 12 questions look at the things that actually hold a friendship up: whether you tell each other real news first, whether silence is comfortable, whether an argument gets repaired or quietly buried, and whether you could ask for a genuine favour without rehearsing it in your head.

How to get a useful result

Take it separately, then compare scores. The gap between your answers is often more interesting than either number. If one of you scores much higher, that is not a verdict on who cares more — usually it means the two of you rely on the friendship for different things, or one of you has simply had a harder year. Talk about the questions where you answered differently.

Reading your score

A high score means the friendship has depth and repair built into it. A middle score is completely normal for good friends who are busy; it usually points at contact, not care. A lower score does not mean the friendship is failing — long-standing friendships go through quiet stretches, and most of them come back with one honest conversation or one plan that actually happens.

Just for fun

This is a light test, not an assessment of anyone. It is meant as a conversation starter between two people who like each other, nothing more. It is free, takes about two minutes, needs no account, and runs in your browser on any phone.
