🥊 Couples Trivia Duel
Seventy-six questions answered at the exact same moment. Say the same name and you score a point; say different names and the argument starts.
How to play
Flip a card and read the question out loud. Count to three, then both of you point at or say your answer at the same time. If you named the same person, take a point. If you did not, there is no point, but that is where the interesting part of the evening begins. Play ten cards, add up the score, and start another round.
Why it works so well
The questions look simple, and the answers reveal more than either of you expects. Who is the better driver, who gives in first, who takes longer to get ready. Nobody has to confess anything, and yet you end up talking about how you actually see each other. It is a couple game that runs on honesty rather than embarrassment, so it works on a first date and after ten years together.
Free, and it also works in a group
With more people, split into pairs and let the rest of the room vote too. When the room disagrees with the couple, you get the best moments of the night. There is no sign-up and nothing to download; the game plays in your browser on any phone, so you can pass it around a table on date night or at a party.
