🌹 Date Night Game
A date night card game for two: 126 cards across Talk, Confess, and Dare. Take turns drawing, answer honestly, and do the dares.
A date night game for two
This is a card game built for one table and two people. There are 126 cards split across three decks: Talk, Confess, and Dare. Talk is conversation that goes somewhere, Confess is small honest admissions with a sense of humor, and Dare is short physical challenges you can actually do at home or at a restaurant without making a scene. Nothing here involves drinking, and nothing gets more explicit than flirty.
How to play
Pick a deck and take turns drawing. Whoever draws either answers the card or does it, and if they pass, the other person picks their next card for them. A good rhythm is two Talk cards, then a Confess, then a Dare, which keeps the night from turning into an interview or a gauntlet of challenges. Play for twenty minutes or three hours; the deck reshuffles either way.
When it works best
Use it on a night in when neither of you has the energy to plan anything, on an anniversary when you want more than dinner, or over a video call when you're apart. Couples who've been together for years usually get the most out of the Confess deck, since the answers stop being predictable around card ten.
Like all of our couple games, it's free, there's no sign-up, and it runs straight in your browser. If you want something calmer afterward, our other questions for couples pick up where the Talk deck leaves off.
