👥 Get to Know Someone
105 get-to-know-you questions in three levels — Surface, Personal, and Deep. Start light, go further only when both of you are ready.
Three levels, one deck
Getting to know someone doesn't work in one jump. This deck of 105 questions is split into three groups so you can choose how far in you want to go. Surface is 35 easy, low-stakes questions about coffee orders, habits, and small preferences — good for a first date, a long drive, or a group where not everyone knows each other. Personal moves into history and character: what shaped someone, what they're working on, what they need on a bad day. Deep is for people who already trust each other, and it asks about meaning, regret, fear, and what a good life would actually look like.
How to play
Pick a level, draw a card, and both of you answer — not just the person who drew. The rule that makes it work is simple: no rapid-fire. One question, two real answers, then move on. If a card lands badly or feels too early, skip it without explaining why; the skip itself is information.
Where it works best
Use Surface with new friends, first dates, or family who mostly talk about logistics. Use Personal a few months into knowing someone. Save Deep for late evenings, long journeys, and the people you'd call at three in the morning. Nothing here is a test, and there are no wrong answers — the point is to hear something you didn't already know.
