What is the Our Song game?
Every couple has a song. Sometimes it is the track that happened to be playing in the car on the first date, sometimes it is a chorus you both start humming years later without planning it. This free game is built to find that song. Each round puts two well-known tracks side by side, and all you have to do is pick the one that sounds more like the two of you.
How do you play?
Tap the song you like better. The one you skip is eliminated, the one you keep moves on, and the bracket narrows round after round until a single winner is left. Play it alone to settle your own taste, or pass the phone back and forth and argue about every single matchup. It also works as one of those party games that gets a whole room talking, so it fits neatly into a trivia night or a long car ride.
Fifty rounds, one hundred songs
The list runs from sixties soul and seventies rock to modern pop, hip-hop, and dance floor anthems, so nobody gets stuck in one decade. There is nothing to download and no sign-up: you play in your browser, and the whole thing takes about five minutes. When the final winner appears, add it to your shared playlist and let it become the song you both point at.
