80 paranoia questions for groups. Whisper the question, hear the name out loud, and let a coin flip decide whether anyone finds out what was asked.
How paranoia is played
Sit in a circle. Draw a card and whisper the question to the person on your left so nobody else hears it. That person says one name out loud — and nothing else. The named person now knows they were chosen but has no idea what for. Then flip a coin: heads, the question is read aloud and the mystery is over; tails, it stays secret forever. The turn passes to the person who just answered, and they whisper the next card to their left.
Why the coin flip matters
The tension is the whole game. Half the time the answer stays unexplained, and the group has to live with it. That's what makes paranoia different from every other name-picking game: the not-knowing is more fun than the reveal. Resist the urge to explain afterwards.
Keeping it kind
These 80 cards are written to be flattering, funny, or simply odd — never insulting. Nobody should end the round feeling picked on. If your group invents its own questions, keep them in the same spirit: the best paranoia question is one anyone would be happy to be named for.
